Early August

We've had some good days of Spanish mackerel and blueish.  Trolling has been best but some days we are able to cast light tackle for them.  There as also been a good shark bite behind the shrimp trawlers.  When they are close to shore it's great fun, most of these sharks you can sight fish for.  As well as the bite around Morehead City the big red drum have moved in on the Nurse River.  Great sport fish, if booking for these plan on at least a 3/4 day trip.
